About Page & Parcel

It all started when…

Page & Parcel is the creative partnership between  Lauren of InTheReads and Tes of Paperbackbones.

After several years of friendship bonding over our shared love of books and working together on different creative projects, we wanted to have our own dedicated space to explore ideas together and collaborate on a consistent basis.

And thus, Page & Parcel was established!

Our flagship release is essentially our love letter to the world of Middle-earth : a box brimming with Tolkien-inspired items thoughtfully curated & designed by the both of us over the past year. This was a joint passion project as we both adore the world Tolkien created. We aspired to create a high quality box that fans like ourselves would love.

We knew we needed to take our time with this, unhindered by deadlines and outside pressure. So, we worked on this project in secret over the past year to give ourselves as much time as we needed to create designs we loved and to make sure the items were manufactured at the highest quality.

We wanted to design a box of items that you could see living on the shelves and desk of Frodo Baggins. Something that could encapsulate his journey through Middle-earth and the fellowship he traveled with.

With Tes living in Germany and Lauren in Colorado, this box was made possible by many long facetime calls, emails, texts, and everything in between.

With any luck of a successful first launch, we hope to curate more boxes like our Fellowship Box, but celebrating other books and fandoms! Besides boxes, we’ll be releasing other products like shirts, bags, and more! Keep a weather eye on the horizon because there is a lot more coming from Page & Parcel in 2022

About Tes

Tes is originally from the states, but moved to Germany a few years ago. She works as curator for OwlCrate - a bookish subscription box and also freelances as a designer. She got involved in the book community via her bookstagram account that she now woefully neglects posting on. Her favorite books include Donna Tartt’s The Secret History and Deathless by Catherynne Valente.

About Lauren

Lauren works from home in Colorado with her two pups working on InTheReads projects full time. She’s a map maker, cosplayer, and packaging guru extraordinaire. When she’s not at the renaissance faire or designing nerdy merch, she’s watching horror movies on the couch or creating Gandalf thirst traps on Tiktok.
